Tried Revo Successfulyl which appeared to detect and remove everything. Tried to install but no luck ‘MS Office professional encountered an error during setup’. Ran Fixit which appeared to detect and remove the installed bits. Tried again to install but got same error message. Repeated above cycle two more times including restarts. I know there are lots of threads succfssfully all the above issues but can’t quite find the right one This thread is locked.

microsoft office professional plus uninstall didnt complete – Microsoft Community – Microsoft 365

Good day SpiceHeads, I’ve been at it for three hours now. My intentions were to upgrade to Office but uninstall first. My problem is when I tried to uninstall I received an error message. Somewhere along the lines of Office did not uninstall successfully. Now I can’t repair neither can I install When I try to open any office apps, it’s acting like it wants to install, the it just rolls back. I’m in a catch 22 situation.

Any suggestions? Any tools or software I can use to uninstall completely. Or do I have to manually uninstall? Perhaps you have something going on with GP that is affecting this.

I know ours won’t let me install Office of any year, have to take it off the domain, install, then add back to the domain. Digitech Bahamas Solutions is an IT service provider.

I just had a similar issue with Office Here’s the url for Office uninstall tool mentioned in the link CrashFF provided. Make sure all running apps are closed, including browsers.
